During the past 2 weeks OCO and its members continue to benefit from the US Department of Justice (USDOJ) – International Computer Hacking and Intellectual Property (ICHIP) and the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) webinar series on COVID-19 crimes as well as a series on the Dark Web. These are 2 separate webinar series which runs for 1 hour each. The presentations are relevant to the current challenges members are experiencing during this COVID 19 pandemic.

Recent topics on enforcement focused on how to move from regulatory and border enforcement into criminal enforcement and the Dark Web series began with an introduction to the Dark Web and moving on to Cryptocurrency and other related topics. Members who participated include Fiji, Kiribati, Niue, Solomon Islands and Tonga, Given these challenging time we are thankful for the partnership between USDOJ-ICHIP, USPTO and OCO that has enabled our members to participate in these e-learning sessions. The program will continue until the end of July 2020. Members who want to participate can contact the OCO Secretariat for further information.
