On request from Solomon Islands Customs & Excise Department (SICED), the solomon IsOCO Trade & Revenue Management Adviser, Ms Laisiana Tugaga was in Honiara, Solomon Islands on 13-21 February, 2017 to assist with the conduct of a Customer Satisfaction Survey (CSS).

The objective of the survey was to capture levels of the stakeholders’ satisfaction of SICED’s delivery of its responsibilities and duties. The survey was conducted over the periods 13-17 February, 2017 with the use of a standard questionnaire to SICED main clients; importers, exporters, customs brokers, Government Agencies and other stakeholders.

SICED intends to use the results and recommendations of the CSS to progress and improve its customer service and related initiatives. Whilst in country, OCO also used the opportunity to discuss national capacity building needs.
