Chief Commissioner of the Papua New Guinea Customs Service (PNGCS), Mr Ray Paul, hosted the inaugural Bilateral meeting between PNGCS and the OCO on 21 April 2017 in Port Moresby.  The meeting was attended by the OCO Head of Secretariat, Mr Seve Paeniu, and officials from PNGCS and OCO.

Discussions at the meeting focused on OCO strategic priorities, and modalities by which PNGCS could play a more active role in assisting OCO to achieve its mission.  PNGCS also showcased its multi-million Kina Container Examination Facility at Motukea outside Port Moresby to the OCO Head of Secretariat following the meeting.
